If you have previously applied to MacEwan Residence, use the login and pin number that was previously provided to you. If you do not remember that information, contact Residence Services at 1-877-497-4017 or residence@macewan.ca.


MacEwan Applicants -  You can apply to live in residence before you receive your letter of acceptance. Submitting an application to MacEwan Residence does not constitute application to MacEwan University.  

Non-MacEwan Applicants -  Students who are attending a post-secondary institution other than MacEwan University must provide proof of enrolment after receiving a room offer. We do not admit students to MacEwan Residence if we cannot confirm their enrolment at a post-secondary institution.


a) MacEwan is pleased to provide a non-smoking environment. Smoking is permitted in designated, outside smoking areas. 

b) Returning residents are prioritized for bachelor and four bedroom suite allocations.

c) You are required to pay a $50 application fee. You may pay online by Visa or MasterCard before submitting this application, or you can send a money order, certified cheque or bank draft payable to MacEwan Residence, 11050 104 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB, T5K 2Y9. Personal cheques are not accepted. Failure to make payment within three (3) days of commencing your application will result in the automatic cancellation of your application.

d) Offers for the Fall/Winter will be sent out starting in May; offers for Winter only will start being sent in November; offers for Spring/Summer will start being sent in February.

e) All term dates listed on the applications are subject to change based on the MacEwan University academic schedule. Dates for each term and application will be confirmed in offer letters.
